Description:£24K pro rata (24h per week).This a unique opportunity to join an inspiring social circus in Newcastle. Circus Central aims to develop youth, community and professional circus in the North East of England. Based at two centres at Shieldfield and Mill Lane, we run adult and youth classes, events and short courses, including our BTEC program (now in its fourth year). As Operations Director, you will manage financial, reputational, material and informal resources of Circus Central. You will develop and manage budgets, source and develop funding applications, equipment, insurance, staffing, marketing and undertake other administrative tasks whilst working closely with our Education Director, our team of mentors and active Board of Trustees. We are looking for an experienced manager with excellent interpersonal skills who has ideally worked in third sector and performance based environments.
