Under the direction of Donald Byrd, Spectrum Dance Theater invites dancers of all genders to audition for the 2025-2026 company season.
Where: Seattle, Washington, USA
When: July 26th, 12-3pm
Deadline for applications: July 25th 2025
We are seeking professional dancers with 2-3 years of experience, preferably trained in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, and/or Hip-Hop, who are passionate about performance and purpose.
Spectrum is especially interested in dancers who are:
-Committed to social justice and equity-driven art making.
-Eager to engage in a collaborative and rigorous creative process.
This is a 30-week contract with competitive pay, relocation to Seattle, WA is required.
A callback audition will be held on Sunday, July 27th from 12-3pm. Please plan travel and accommodations accordingly.
Spectrum dance Theater, under the direction of Donald Byrd, is nationally recognized for producing ambitious dance works that grapple with pressing social and cultural issues. This is a rare opportunity to join a company known for its bold vision and commitment to meaningful performance.
