Description:PARIS?For 20 years, Théâtre Antony - near Paris - has ensured that, despite all the construction frenzy, the tent circus still has a place in the public space. Twenty years ago, the Circus Ronaldo tent was first pitched on the square. Théâtre Antony wants to celebrate this event with a soirée composé and asked Circus Ronaldo to put together an evening. Circus Ronaldo would also like to share this space with and provide space for emerging talent. We want you! Would you like to play together with Circus Ronaldo and many other artists in this unique place near Paris? Are you available toplay at the soirée composé in Paris on December 9, 2024 ? Circus Ronaldo is looking for two acts of max. 20 minutes (composé form in tent setup, rigging possible). The common thread throughout this soirée is: 'The empty space, the power of imagination'. OSTEND? For more than 25 years, Theater Aan Zee (TAZ) has been providing space for the performing arts at unique locations in Ostend and also focuses on young, novice artists. Since its inception, cultural center De Grote Post has also embraced the circus and supports makers in their development with a strong residency program. We want you! In the summer of 2025, Circus Ronaldo, TAZ, De Grote Post and Circuscentrum will pull together and provide a fresh breeze with a focus on young, novice circus artists. We are looking for different acts that can play in the Circus Ronaldo tent or acts on location (in situ) or in the public space (Wonderwaai family program). Are you available in the period from July 30 to August 9, 2025 ? We are launching this Double Call for both Paris 2024 and TAZ 2025. Selection day on September 19, 2024 in De Grote Post for Paris 2024 AND for TAZ 2025 . You may be selected for one or both events. Course: August 15 : Application deadline. If via the link below. A committee consisting of professionals from Circus Ronaldo, TAZ and De Grote Post makes a selection. September 2 : notification of selection September 19 : selection day at De Grote Post in Ostend with the same committee We will announce the selected candidates on October 1 December 9, 2024 playing at the Soirée Composé in Antony, Paris. Between July 30 - August 9, 2025 : play in tent, on location or Wonderwaai at TAZ 2025, Ostend. Financial: Transport expenses for the selection day will be reimbursed via rail pass reimbursement within Belgium (H/T) A buyout sum is being worked on for December 9, 2024 TAZ 2025: reimbursement according to collective labor agreement 304 performing arts (seniority 0)/several performance days + transport expenses + catering and accommodation.
