Description:
We are looking for outdoor and indoor circus performances to participate in Circus Festival OU in Oulu 12.-18.6.2026. Circus Festival OU is held for the first time and it is part of Oulu2026 Capital of Culture programme. The festival is organized by Finnish circus organizations and freelance artists: Arctic Ensemble, Lumo Company, TipTop Walkers and Merri Heikkilä.
The beating heart of the festival is Arctic Ensemble's beautiful big top in Hiukkavaara suburb, but shows also spread in Culture House Valve (Blackbox) and outdoors in Oulu city centre.
We are looking for different kind of shows:
Outdoors show for whole family
Indoor/blackbox shows for Culture House Valve, frontal, audience of 139-175
Inside show for big top, audience on 3 sides or full 360, audience of 300-400
We are looking for ready, full length shows. Show fee is based on individual artist fee. We have the same fee for all participants. Fee per person in the show (450€). If invoiced, the fee is 530€+vat per person. The shows selected will perform 2 times at the festival. Travel and accommodation is covered for the time.
