Description:
The Winged City of Ypres will be celebrating its 22nd edition next year. The festival will once again surprise organisers, promoters and the public with the best acts from the street theatre world for three days on 11-12-13 April 2025.
The core values will be retained in any case: De Gevleugelde Stad is and will remain an international promotional festival for arts in the open space (circus, theatre, installations, fire and fireworks, etc.) and consists of two parts:
At the promotional festival (in the historical city centre and on the ramparts of Ypres) selected artists will present their act to the present organisers/promoters, who will be specially invited to come and watch and make contacts. The festival is freely accessible to a wide audience for the sake of the atmosphere & to give the artists the necessary response.
The trade fair is a meeting place between artists and organisers/promoters. The stands are reserved for partners of 'De Gevleugelde Stad Ieper' and the selected artists (or their representatives). This trade fair is only accessible to artists and organisers/promoters.
