Description:DESCRIPTIONLocation: Astor Place Theatre – New York Title: Blue Man Group Musician Type: Part Time Blue Man Group at the Astor Place Theatre is seeking energetic drummers, guitarists, and bassists for future Blue Man productions. String players primarily perform on the electric zither and Chapman stick, as well as bass and guitar. Must have experience performing in a professional setting and possess a very high level of musicianship as well as the ability to collaborate and adapt in a creative and changing environment. Solid sense of time, friendly open attitude and ability to have fun while taking direction are a must. Must be based in New York but be open to future travel. Auditions will be held by appointment only on August 1st, 2022 in New York. Callbacks will take place August 2nd, 2022. The hourly rate for this position is $40.
