Job Description PQA, a leading provider of weekend performing arts training, is currently recruiting a Musical Theatre teacher for their Academy in Leeds North & Bardsey on 9:30-13:00 You will need knowledge of practical Singing, Dance, Drama and Performance techniques and be able to teach a range of genres from Pop to Musical Theatre, Acting Through Song to Musical Theatre on Film and there is the opportunity to choreograph for PQA's West End Season, book musicals and showcases. PQA follows safer recruiting. An enhanced DBS on the update service will be required and can be arranged. Job Requirements Knowledge and experience in all aspects of Musical Theatre. A genuine interest in and enthusiasm for developing performance and life skills with children aged 6 to 18. Ability to prepare and rehearse Musical Theatre content for a variety of showcases and performances. Job Responsibilities Planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate, Musical Theatre classes and workshops for children aged 6 to 18 from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing. Willingness to work as part of a small, energetic team and to contribute to the wider life of the academy.
