DRAMA SCENE Performing Arts are looking to recruit a dynamic, passionate and experienced Musical Theatre professional to join their Dubai team from September 2024. The role will involve teaching group and individual musical theatre & acting classes to a variety of ages and abilities. The role requires strong communication and relationship building skills. Candidates will need to be available for training from late August 2024.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Ø Performing Arts degree/ diploma in Musical Theatre/dance
Ø 3-5 yrs experience in teaching Musical Theatre to groups of children & teens
Ø Passionate, energetic & presentable
Ø Proactive with the ability to create new ideas and plan new classes
Ø Confident with directing large showcases, performances and leading/devising workshops
Ø Strong at building relationships
Ø Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Ø Well organized with attention to detail
Ø Strong admin skills (Excel, Word)
Ø Fluent in English is a must
Ø Valid driver’s license is preferable
DRAMA SCENE was established in the UAE in 2008 out of a passion to provide children and teens with professional skill-based performing arts training. DRAMA SCENE has grown since its inception, into one of the largest performing arts school in the Middle East and now offers Acting, Musical Theatre, Group Devising Theatre and Public Speaking classes across the UAE. DRAMA SCENE operates out of their own custom built studios, in Umm Suqeim 03, Dubai, UAE. DRAMA SCENE is further a private LAMDA Centre in the Middle East offering accredited LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) Examinations to students 5 years plus across different disciplines such as Acting, Musical Theatre, Group Devising Performance & Public Speaking.
