Description:
The Studios Brookhaven provides quality, after school education for various schools in the Atlanta-metro area. We are currently hiring a musical theatre instructor to teach a class called Broadway Kids. This class is all about fast-paced learning where students learn the words, music and basic choreography to a different Broadway song each week. We do not strive for perfection, but the class is more about learning quickly, learning a lot of songs from various shows, and ensemble-building. We do a "cut" of a song, so about 45 seconds in total and you have an hour to teach it!
The ideal candidate is fantastic in a group setting of ages 4-6 and 6-9, is passionate about teaching musical theatre, and is able to see the "high level" goal of the end product rather than getting stuck in the details/weeds. Accompaniment tracks will be provided along with weekly song selections.
The pay is $50-65/class and each class is an hour long. Opportunity to grow with the company and possibly take on more responsibilities each week!
