Up to £20,296 p.a. (FTE £24,036 p.a.) - pay award pending
37 hours per week, 38 weeks during term time

We now have a vacancy for a Music technician to work within The School of Music, Media and Performing Arts supporting both students and teachers; preparing and maintaining equipment, as well as supporting students during lessons and study periods. This is an ideal role for someone who has experience working within Music Technology as we have a ProTools based studio and also operate using Ableton and a variety of other software. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience and knowledge of working within a busy Music environment and a willingness to work with a wide range of students with different skills and ambitions.

Job Responsibilities
Supporting staff and students in the preparation of learning materials to be used in lessons and study periods.
Management of Music stock and equipment, including ordering and secure storage, to ensure staff and students have what they need for teaching and learning activities.
Supporting students in the correct and safe use of equipment including studio hardware and software Supporting teaching staff for events such as gigs, concerts and examinations.
