Job Description: Private Lesson Instructors and Teaching Artists for Group Instruction
General Summary:
WeMusic is committed to bring superior music education and cultural enrichment through a suite of online and offline masterclasses and events. WeMusic efficiently offers superior access to world-class musicians and educators for music lovers everywhere.
As an online music education platform bringing the highest level of artistic training to the convenience of a student’s home, we provide a comprehensive and holistic study of music, including instrument and voice lessons, music theory and ear training, as well as college admission preparation. Our current faculty are from top conservatories or university music programs to assure that students enjoy the best resources and culture.
Responsibilities:
WeMusic music teachers will teach children and adolescents the fundamental principles of instrumental learning and musicianship skills. Teachers will select appropriate music, books and instructional aides to enhance learning.

Our ideal instructor will possess:
Availability for online lessons (can be conducted at home, studios, or similar professional environments)
Artistic Excellence, including quality and scope of professional artistic work, and depth of knowledge within music education and performance disciplines.
Flexibility with students of different ages, levels of knowledge, and learning styles
Access to the internet on laptop, iPad, or similar device
Professionalism, including ability to plan with others, to articulate goals and objectives and to adapt to varying student populations and environments
Schedule:
30-minute or 60-minute lessons are given online with a pre-scheduled time slot during the weekday and/or weekends. Currently WeMusic private instruction are offered primarily to students in China, so a flexible schedule of early morning or late evenings is preferred.
Compensation:
We offer starting rates of $30/hourly rates based on teacher experience
