Velvet Circus, an innovative performance collective, is seeking exceptional specialty acts and skilled dancers for an exciting new production titled "Monster Manor." This open call invites talented individuals to join the cast for performances scheduled for October 1st at 7:00 PM. For Specialty Acts:
We are actively seeking a diverse range of specialty performers, including sideshow artists, circus acts, unique burlesque, non-traditional drag, vocalists, jugglers, and musicians. Please note that fire acts are strictly prohibited. Prepare a solo presentation of your unique talent, not exceeding four minutes. You must supply all necessary equipment and props. Any accompanying audio must be provided on a flash drive in MP3 format exclusively. Vocalists should be prepared to perform without microphone amplification during the audition. For Dancers:
Dancers should arrive fully warmed up and ready to perform. All auditioning dancers will learn a short choreography combination and then perform it. Time for learning the combination will be limited, so focus and active participation are key. Appropriate footwear (dance shoes or sneakers) is required; sandals, flip-flops, or bare feet are not permitted. Please wear comfortable attire that allows for full range of motion, and ensure hair is pulled back to clearly showcase facial expressions. Important Information for All Auditionees:
