Description:
The San Diego Seals strive to be the premier entertainment entity in San Diego.
We are looking for a mascot performer to work events in the community representing the Seals brand. This person will be a performer willing to shake every hand, take every picture, and make thousands of impressions each time out.
Possible Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform in costume as team mascot at community appearances around San Diego County representing the team in a fun and engaging manner.
Serve as a back-up performer for Seals home games at Pechanga arena, or work as a mascot handler
Work as a production assistant on Seals game presentation staff
Duties as assigned
Required Skills / Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience as a mascot performer preferred
Experience as an actor, dancer, martial artist, acrobat, or stunt artist is a plus
Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
Ability and fitness to perform at high-temperature conditions in a mascot costume
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Availability to work weekdays during business hours, and weekends preferred
Polished interpersonal and communication skills with a positive demeanor and appearance
