About The Position
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing engaging and impactful cross-channel marketing campaigns and assets that drive awareness of the Harlem Stage brand and increase audiences in key categories. This position is full-time, onsite, and reports to the Chief Content Communications Officer.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
· Create brand awareness and acquisition campaigns across communication channels to promote genuine enthusiasm for Harlem Stage and its mission, drive ticket sales, social media followers, and donors
· Develop and implement communication strategies for paid and organic social media and email
· Manage graphic and video designers to create compelling hard and soft assets per creative briefs
· Work with cross functional teams to create content to drive audience engagement and growth
· Manage social media and email calendars and their respective implementation
· Community management on core platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube
· Generate creative ideas for campaigns, promotions, and activations
· Understand and monitor KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly
· Manage cross promotional partnerships and external communication partners
Qualifications:
· Extensive marketing experience with a bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, or a related field
· Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
· Expertise in managing social media platforms
· Expertise in MailChimp
· Positive, can-do/will do - get it done personality
· Collaborative and active listening skills
· Ability to manage projects
· Creative and critical thinker
· Detail and solutions oriented
· Emotional and professional maturity
· Expert knowledge of social networks: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
· Ability to curate social content in an interesting and compelling way
· Strong understanding of key social media KPIs, analysis, and reporting
· Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks
Salary:
$90,000 - $110,000 based on experience and expertise
