Job Description: Duties will include performing as a streetmosphere character (street actor), meeting, greeting, and entertaining our park guests with enthusiasm and animation. Previous performing experience is highly preferred; willing to train the right person. A positive, can-do attitude is an absolute must for this position! Interested applicants must be comfortable with interacting with our park guests and other cast members, be able to work in crowds, heat/ cold for 60-minute intervals, and be able to perform specific choreographed movements during cavalcades or parades if needed.
Physical Requirements:
Constantly standing, talking, climbing walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping, feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation, using hearing acuity, seeing near far, stooping, bending, kneeling.
Working in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity and temperature change.
Must be able to carry and wear 5 to 35 pounds of costume weight.
Things to Know – Audition Day:
Appropriate audition attire that allows for movement should be worn.
Candidates should not wear sandals or flip flops to the audition.
Please provide at least one 30-60 second comedic monologue for the audition or be prepared to do a cold reading.
Be prepared to show any special skills.
