As a Managing Producer with the Disney Live Entertainment team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of multiple projects while providing leadership and oversight to Producers and Production teams. While collaborating with all operating, design, technical, and creative partners, you will set the inclusive and optimistic tone within all projects to bring a vision to life in an atmosphere that promotes support, balance and perspective from all levels in the organization. You will report to the Executive Producer. This is a Full Time, salaried role. What You Will Do Provide direct leadership of Producers and production staff Be accountable for direct interface with stakeholders, executives and clients to establish project scope and deliverables Be responsible for show development and production process as it relates to clients and projects Collaborate with Producers and Production Leadership to assign production teams with a focus on collaboration and inclusion Influence and guide production teams to develop and deliver projects on time and on budget Review projects/events in progress as to development, schedule, and budget, and communicate updates to management and executive leadership as necessary Assume oversight of development of creative content as well as show quality of all productions assigned Partner with Design and Technical leaders throughout the project life cycle to ensure the successful delivery of projects Produce projects as needed Invest in the growth and development of the Cast and prepare them for future opportunities Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and evenings while advocating well-being and balance for all those related to the project Required Qualifications & Skills 10+ years background combined in stage management, production, creative direction or technical teams combined with 3 years as Producer or equivalent Highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to manage multiple disciplines/projects in fast-paced environment Demonstrated leadership ability, including problem-solving, influencing abilities, negotiating skills and continuous improvement process experience Proven ability to deliver on specific and measurable targets through collaborative team environment Demonstrated ability to handle financial/accounting issues relative to area of responsibility Proven decision-making abilities and scheduling/labor management skills Demonstrated strong presentation experience, as well as verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated strong public speaking experience and influential executive interface Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills and positive demeanor Demonstrated partnering, coaching and mentoring skills Proficiency with various software/computer programs including Microsoft Office Excel, Word PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet and willingness to learn new software programs or applications Demonstrated ability to be adaptable to a wide variety of working environments Willingness to travel on various domestic and international assignments as needed, for extended periods of time Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated Theme Park entertainment experience or equivalent Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Entertainment Show Production and Entertainment Operations Education Bachelor’s degree in entertainment production or related field or equivalent experience Additional Information Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life!
