Description:About the RoleMale Singers (MS1 & MS2) → Calling all talented tenors and high baritones! Female Singers → Calling all divas with powerhouse vocals! Singer/Dancers (Male & Female) → Calling all talented singers who can move! Area of responsibility Male Singers (MS1 & MS2) We are looking for charismatic singers to join our team and entertain audiences on board our cruise ships! MS1 Roles: Strong tenor singers with a versatile range, comfortable performing contemporary pop, rock, and all roles will include a sprinkle of Italian, Spanish, and French. Must be confident movers for basic choreography. 2 MS1 Roles: same abilities as the high tenor MS1’s, with the additional skill of performing in an Ed Sheeran rap style, basic rap skills. MS2 Roles: High baritones with similar skills to the MS1 roles → limited slots available. Ready to bring your talent to the high seas? Strong belt and impressive high range (think D-Eb, with some roles pushing to F-Gs) Sizzling stage presence and ability to command the audience Confidence in performing contemporary pop with a soulful touch Excellent dance skills to perform basic choreography Ready to belt it out on the high seas? Here's what you'll need: Powerful singing voice with a strong belt and high range Experience performing contemporary pop and soulful music Strong stage presence and ability to captivate the audience Excellent dance skills for basic choreography Commitment to obtaining the necessary STCW certifications and medical documents (we can help!) Singer/Dancers (Male & Female) Calling all talented singers who can move! We are looking for dynamic singer/dancers to join our cruise ship entertainment team! Strong dance ability: Keep up with the choreography alongside our talented dancers! Singing chops: While singing demands vary by ship, be confident and comfortable performing pop, rock, and taking lead vocals in shows. Baritone singers with good vocal skills may be considered for some ships. Foreign language skills: A plus! Ready to sing and dance your way to an amazing adventure? Here's what you'll need: Strong singing voice and ability to perform pop and rock music (some lead vocals required) Excellent dance skills to keep up with the choreography Ability to adapt to singing demands depending on the ship assignment Foreign language skills (a plus!) Scope of duties Non-stop entertainment: We put on dazzling productions in the main theatre 6 nights a week, which means variety is key! Vocal powerhouses: We need singers comfortable with both musical theatre and classical pieces, but with a modern twist. Think pop, rock, and soulful belting! Great range and the ability to harmonize are a must, as you'll be performing alongside at least 3 other singers. Stage presence is a plus: You'll be captivating audiences, so bring your confidence, charisma, and polished look. Beyond the stage: There may be opportunities to perform a song or dance number outside the theatre, like kicking off a party! Behind the scenes: Occasionally, you might be chosen (on rotation) to greet guests on a backstage tour. It's not a regular gig, but good to be aware of. Q&A sessions: On some busy cruises, a rotating group of 4 cast members may participate in short Q&A sessions. It's not a common occurrence, but flexibility is appreciated. Safety first: Like all crew members, you'll participate in safety briefings and drills. Qualification/Work Experience We're seeking talented singers with certified training or a recognized performing arts qualification. Experience is a plus! We'd love to see applicants with several years performing in professional stage productions. Ever dreamed of performing on the high seas? Prior cruise ship singing/performance experience is a major advantage. Essential Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English Exceptional customer service focus Strong educational background We're looking for individuals who: Are highly motivated, energetic, and can handle anything thrown their way Possess natural talent, charisma, and artistic expression Have a strong musical foundation, a great sense of rhythm, and maintain physical fitness Have formal training in solo singing and choral ensembles Can read sheet music and prepare for rehearsals independently Personality Traits: Confident and poised when interacting with guests Excellent communication and teamwork skills Thrive in fast-paced environments Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance
