Description of tasks Lead a large-scale project deliverable in January 2024 Ensure compliance with: The technical schedule in collaboration with the production management & The rehearsal schedule in collaboration with the production management and with the director Manage the technical budget: ensure its updating and compliance Report to other departments during production meetings Supervise, jointly with the technical director of the company, the purchase of technical materials necessary for the needs of the production Supervise, jointly with the technical director of the company, the purchase of acrobatic equipment necessary for the needs of the production Supervise and mentor the creative team and technicians Find the technical labor needed to set up and take down the show Collaborate with other departments Perform other related tasks to ensure the smooth running of production Required profile Excellent oral and written communication Excellent sense of organization and ability to manage multiple files at once 10 years of experience in technical direction Basic knowledge of acrobatic equipment Ability to work under pressure, independently and in a team love field work Requirements Lead a large-scale project deliverable in January 2024 Sensitivity to the performing arts community and more particularly to the circus Recognized technical training or experience deemed equivalent Good knowledge of technical equipment applied to the performing arts Knowledge and proficiency in AutoCad software Knowledge and mastery of the usual IT tools (Office suite, Google docs) Assets Driver's license Proficiency in spoken and written English Terms of employment Contract August 2023 to January 2024 (renewable contract if the project is renewed) Work aligned with the technical director of the company Flexible hours and number of working hours vary depending on the time of year: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m./week August 2023 & 40 hours/week from September 2023 to January 2024 Workplace: flexible, with a punctual and essential presence at the Saint-Charles de Limoilou church (Quebec City) A dynamic and stimulating environment Very good team spirit Remuneration: lump sum of $35,000 – $40,000, depending on experience Communications Send your resume to [email protected] before May 12, 2023 , specifying which position you are applying for.
