Description:
It is a place of training, conviviality and support for young creation. It was developed with two objectives:
The discovery of circus arts through practice: amateur career from an early age thanks to child and adult workshops throughout the year as well as through introductory and advanced courses
Training and support for young circus artists
It is developed around several projects: amateur practice (internally and externally thanks to the Ateliers Nomades project), preparatory training for competitions for higher schools in circus arts, a program labeled Scène Découvertes and a specific project around circus and disability.
For all of its action, the Lyon Circus School receives support from the City of Lyon, the Metropolis of Lyon, the CAF du Rhône, the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region, the State (Regional Directorate of the economy, employment, labor and solidarity / Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs)
Employment: coordination of amateur practices, ECL nomadic workshops and disability projects. He/she is placed under the authority of the MJC Equipment Director and the responsibility of the ECL General Coordinator. He.She coordinates a team of about ten speakers.
General functions:
Ensure the implementation of the associative project by the organization of amateur practice projects, internally or in external partnerships within the framework of the Nomadic Workshops. He.She is the guarantor of the consistency of the different actions.
Develop and track the budget for internal amateur practices, external workshops and disability projects.
Responsibilities for all administrative procedures (request, drafting, monitoring of grants by project).
Management and HR monitoring of the team of circus workers: recruitment (in conjunction with the general coordinator), support in the training course
continuous, planning of schedules and follow-up of the hours of the speakers (hour sheets, contracts, replacements)
Representation of the structure with partners and professional networks (FFEC, FREC).
Missions 1: Coordination of amateur practice (internal)
Administrative management and organization of weekly activities, courses during school holidays and teen-adult courses during weekends.
In connection with the team of speakers, development of educational content.
Create documents and educational tools for weekly activities and external interventions (in connection with administrative and communication assistance for their design).
Plan and organize regular meetings with circus stakeholders and activity members for educational monitoring.
Mission 2: coordination of nomadic workshops (external)
Contribute to the construction and monitoring of partnerships (meeting of pre-projects and assessment)
Maintain and develop new projects in partnership on the territory of the 5th arrondissement. Participate in the implementation of special events related to the circus activity of the MJC and between the different sectors (young sector, residents' initiatives). Develop extra-curricular / extra-curricular gateways through the circus.
More broadly, development of partnerships in the Region (EAC projects, disability & health sector, events).
Ensure the organization and administrative management of external interventions (Workshops Nomads), in conjunction with the administrative and communication assistant. (Development and budget monitoring / monitoring of quotes, agreements and invoices)
Mission 3: Coordinate projects around disability within the structure and outside
Ensure support for children with disabilities in conjunction with the accompanying child and families (develop assessments, end-of-year reports).
Ensure projects in partnership with the SUBS (development of each educational project in conjunction with the institution and the referent speaker on these projects).
Set up events to raise public awareness of circus and disability issues, but also actions for professionals (colloquium, thematic evening).
This position requires the presence of certain weekends in the year, in particular on the amateur practice courses for children and adults.
According to the request and the needs expressed by the MJC. He/she is called upon to help with the ticket office for certain shows in the Scène Découverte program (a dozen curtain raisers per year). In particular, he/she coordinates certain specific evenings: open tracks/amateur shows in conjunction with the general coordinator of the Lyon Circus School.
Description of the profile sought:
Higher education (bac + 4 minimum), good general culture
Strong interest in circus arts
Relational skills, taste and experience of teamwork as well as for leading a team
Ability to develop, implement and coordinate projects involving multiple partners (cultural structures / National Education / Associative and social structures / Guardianship, etc.)
Proven writing skills
Administrative rigor
Capacity for initiative and autonomy
Driving license essential
Availability (evenings, weekends)
Confirmed use of digital tools

Remuneration: coefficient 350 (ECLAT agreement).
