The dance ensemble at the State Theater of Braunschweig, under the direction of Gregor Zöllig, is dedicated to contemporary dance. The interplay of interdisciplinary artist collectives, international guests, and works by chief choreographer Gregor Zöllig forms the starting point and foundation of the diverse program.

Gregor Zöllig continually develops his artistic dance language in collaboration with the ensemble, shaped by strong personalities, and with cross-disciplinary partners. His dance theater serves as a laboratory for social imagination, in which he searches for his own form of expression and translates socially critical forms and narratives into movement.
