We are looking for a diverse cast of all ages with * completed dance studies with a focus on contemporary dance * confident handling of voice and text * High level of musicality, improvisational and reflective skills * Openness to unconventional stage situations (open space, Installation) * Interest in collaborative physical inquiry and critical philosophical engagement with the themes of time structures, emotions, society and theater * housing in Vienna (optimal) * availability for about 6 to 8 weeks of rehearsals (by arrangement) * availability for possible future guest performances About the project and work period NOW is an aesthetic-philosophical examination of the moment of now and investigates how an idea of time shapes human self-image and practice of cultural coexistence. The premiere is in December 2023 at brut nordwest in Vienna. Rehearsals will take place by arrangement with a focus on in the second half of 2023, primarily in Vienna. The salary is based on the recommendations of the IG Freie Theaterarbeit (further info, please see the link posted on the webite: www.varukt.at).
