Organization Description
Cirque EquiNote is registered as a creative circus company. Created from scratch, it has continued to evolve for 11 years.
What inspires EquiNote:
- The freedom….. to think, to express, to act, to move, to be...
- Horses by an inspiring relationship, by the desire to continue the story of a circus with horses and more generally by the desire to work towards a better being together.
- The marquee, by its ephemeral dimension, its own universe, its ability to attract very large audiences, the way of life it implies.

Its partners:
Currently the company is approved by the Grand Est Region (2022-2024) following development aid 2019-2021 as well as by the DRAC Great East (2022-2023).
Also supported by the Ministry of Culture (DGCA aid for creation + aid for homelessness), the DRAC Grand Est (aid for creation), the Grand Est Region, the Grand Ciel network, the city of Strasbourg, the European Community of Alsace, the Community of Communes of Saint-Amarin.

Job Description
Under the responsibility of the office of the association Sur un air de Terre (carrier of the EquiNote activity) and in close collaboration with the operational team (1 administrative officer and 1 artistic carrier), the production manager will set to music the different activities of the company which can be broken down into three main missions/challenges:
● The resumption of the assembly of the production of the new creation “Humanimalis” provisional title, premieres scheduled for
autumn 2024.
● The broadcast of the show “Before the Night After”.
● Participation in the project to create a permanent place.
This position is intended to evolve into a production/broadcasting management position which in the long term is necessary for the development of the activities of Cie EquiNote.
The main tasks:
Production:
● Pursue the search for partners (co-productions, pre-purchases, ...) mainly in France,
● Coordinate and/or participate in meetings with partners and teams,
● Represent the company at festivals, fairs, meetings professional...
● Participate in the management of human resources,
● Participate in budget projections,
● Participate in the general development of the Company, link with the territory.s, articulation with the project of the place, other
artistic projects (street, in situ...),
Dissemination:
● Consolidate and develop contacts in France and abroad,
● Develop a dissemination strategy and build an argument,
● Organize tours that are as geographically consistent as possible,
● Keep the calendar up to date with the team,
● Update and maintain the database of programmers and broadcasters (Orféo software, quick start),
● Welcome the pros during performances, particularly during high points (Avignon, festivals, etc.),
● Manage invitations to professionals (emails, email or telephone follow-up, postal mail, etc.),
● Develop a communication strategy (press, insertion, presentation file, distribution brochure, etc.),
● Maintaining relations with the press (press review, invitations to journalists, radio, media, etc.),
● Strategic monitoring and news monitoring of the circus sector,
● Participation in self-dissemination projects (to be defined according to the location)...
Site project:
● Participation in the development of the project in conjunction with the partners,
● Integrate this project into the overall strategy of the Company
● Participate in the development of the project (organisation of meetings, partner and community relations, etc.).
Type of position:
● Variable-time position to be specified together (approximately 600 – 700h/year)

● Place of work : mainly on tour and at the company's wintering place in Husseren-Wesserling in Alsace

Description of the profile sought
Skills/experiences:
● Good experience in a similar position
● Very good knowledge and interest in performing arts and in particular the circus network
● Mastery of computer tools (word processing, spreadsheet, shared tools such as Numéricloud)
Required qualities:
● Interpersonal skills in person and on the phone
● Adherence to the values of the structure and its artistic projects
● Great motivation and willingness to get involved in the global EquiNote project
● Ability to take initiatives and responsibilities (possible development towards a position of manager -production management)
● Taste for itinerancy because very frequent trips (pro appointments, tours, caravan accommodation)
● Taste for teamwork
