We are looking for Performing artists who want to create their own inclusive project In 2021 Theater Babel Rotterdam will give performing artists the opportunity to realize an inclusive project with us. The maker may specialize in any stage discipline: theater, puppet theater, dance, circus, musical theater, performance, visual arts, music. The only condition is that he or she graduated from an art training course recently or longer. There is no theme, everything is allowed, as long as it is included. Work mainly from your own inspiration and discipline, and think about how you can deepen it in an inclusive way. Theater Babel Rotterdam is working on a transferable method for inclusive theater. Through this partnership, we want to promote inclusivity in the theater sector. The project You come up with a concept for an inclusive project yourself. You formulate a research question and method, and on that basis you will work with actors from Babel. This results in a short performance. You will be ultimately responsible for your project in all areas: from concept development to implementation. You will be coached by the Babel team on an artistic and production level.
