Charles Pas is looking for performers for two new productions in the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 seasons.
For these upcoming creations by maker Charles Pas, we are looking for physically attuned dancers and performers who are willing to engage in an intense physical process and explore new bodily vocabularies.
We are looking for performers with a broad movement background.
During the audition – which takes the form of a workshop- we will work with the intuitive body, moving from the senses.
This means we’re looking for performers with a technical background (ranging from classical training to urban sports), who can use that technique when needed. However, the material is not based on any specific technique; the agency of the body itself is central. The body is invited into a state of being in which it is challenged to develop its play further.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– Performers with a physical practice
– An open attitude toward improvisation, vulnerability, and physical confrontation
– Interest in themes related to the body, power, nature/culture, the human condition
– Gender identity is open: all performers are welcome
WHAT WE OFFER

Charles Pas (1998) is a performance artist with a distinctly physical signature. In his performances and presence on stage, he seeks the raw truth of human existence; a truth that is under pressure in an increasingly elusive society. Charles brings the crisis of connection – between people and themselves, and between people and society – to the stage. He transforms alienation into a visceral physical experience that forces us into proximity.
