Immersive Dining Company Gingerline are looking for experienced dancers and physical theatre performers for an exciting rework of their multi-sensory project.

When:
Audition : 18th December 2023.
Rehearsals begin 22nd January 2024.
Performances begin 29th February 2024 for three months with opportunity to extend.

Gingerline are looking for versatile performers with experience in contemporary dance, physical theatre, improvisation and immersive theatre for their upcoming multi-sensory project. Although, we are casting circus performers separately please tell us if you have any specific circus skills including aerial work, unicycling, slack line and acrobatics. Please note that this is a dining experience and therefore roles will also have an element of food and drink service.
Performers will be required to dance a variety of styles inspired by a country’s rich cultural traditions. We are particularly interested in meeting dancers that have experience of Norwegian folk dances such as Hallingdans and Gangar, Shanghai Jazz and Chinese Classical dance or Keralan Onam festival dances and the martial arts form Kalaripayattu. Although full training will be provided by a group of specialist choreographers, please highlight if you have this experience or have lived experience of the countries mentioned.
Auditions will take place on 18th December 2023 in London.
Rehearsals will take place from 22nd January 2024 with preview performances commencing 29th February 2024. Initially performers will be contracted for a three-month run with the option to extend.
Performances will take place in a secret East London location and run Wednesday to Sunday evenings with matinees on a Saturday and Sunday. Performers are required to be available for up to six 100-minute performances per week during their contract period.
Rehearsals will be paid at £120 per day and performance fee will be £600 per week.
