Description:Choreographer Kristian Lever is looking for experienced contemporary dancers, for the world renowned Savonlinna Opera Festival’s new and exciting production of Aida.Where: Savonlinna, Finland When: May 31 – July 1, 2022 + July 4, 6, 12, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23. WHAT: The world renowned Savonlinna Opera Festival is creating a new and modern opera production of Aida, blending with contemporary dance. Choreographer Kristian Lever is in charge of the choreography and is currently looking for experienced contemporary dancers, whom are interested in working with dramatic theatre as well. All genders and ethnicities are encouraged to apply. There are no age or height restrictions. WHERE: Located in a historic castle, in the beautiful Finnish forest next to a lake, the production will be created / rehearsed on location in Savonlinna, Finland. All performances take place in Savonlinna, Finland as well. WHEN: Rehearsals from May 31 – June 30. Performances are nine (9) in total: July 1, 4, 6, 12, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23. It is required that the dancers are available for ALL rehearsal dates, as well ALL performances noted in this listing.
