Entertainment Event Technician
Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY
Hours: Part time, 2 – 3 days per week

About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
We are looking for a part time Entertainment Event Technician to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
About the role of Entertainment Event Technician
Working alongside our existing Entertainment and Creative teams you will be responsible for installing and rigging seasonal event set pieces and assist with technical show development throughout the event, seeking innovative ways to enhance the offering and ultimately improve the guest experience of our seasonal calendar of themed events.
As an expert in audio/visual systems you’ll troubleshoot and repair when required, ensure show operations are running smoothly and striking / re-setting the shows between performances. We have an exciting catalogue of event and show venues across the resort, and you’ll work alongside our performance teams to deliver the highest quality of show performance for each and every guest.
About You
Previous experience rigging set pieces in an out-door environment is essential, using hand tools and battery powered power tools
You’ll have proven experience with theatrical A/V systems, including lighting, sound and automation, including audio/visual troubleshooting and programming
Event set up hours can be varied due to the nature of our operational calendar, so you will need to be comfortable working late nights, early mornings and weekends
An understanding of the following A/V systems is preferred:
DiGiCo Mixing Consoles, Midas Mixing Consoles, ETC Lighting Systems, Q-Lab
