Description:For the remake of our family-performance ‘Binnenbeest’. De Dansers is looking for dancers/performers based in The Netherlands with a creative personality, a strong stage presence and physical sensitivity, who want to join the company for our production Binnenbeest.Where: Utrecht, The Netherlands When: auditions: 3, 4 April | rehearsals and touring November ’24 – May ’25 Deadline for applications: 17 March 2024 Binnenbeest is a well-received piece that choreographer Josephine van Rheenen made in 2017 for a young audience (6+). In this performance we play around the fine line between order and chaos and explore how to deal with impulses. Can you blindly follow them, or should you try to control them? With a new cast De Dansers is going to re-create this very energetic and humor-full dance piece. De Dansers is looking for 3-4 new dancers to join this process. The re-creation will be based on the original piece, but the big dance scenes will be reworked and there is room for the creativity and personality of the new performers. De Dansers work with a wide variety of performers (mime, circus artists, musicians, dancers with different dance backgrounds). So, performers from different backgrounds (self-made or educated) are very welcome. For Binnenbeest we look for performers who have great physical and partnering skills and a talent for theatre/working with text and who are excited to join an open, creative and hardworking team.
