Former circus artist Lennert Vandenbroeck (ESAC, Circus Monti, Cie Rasposo, Duo Leo) is inspired by the Michael Checkhov acting method. This method has a psychophysical approach to acting, meaning that contact is made with the emotional and psychological dimensions of the actor through the imagination, the body and the movement. Lennert sees this as an enormous potential for the circus arts. He wants to apply this method to circus and is looking for circus artists who want to research true play from within their own discipline. Are you interested?
