MUSEUM NIGHT FEVER 2023
Musée BELvue (BEL)
Call for applications
The BELvue Museum in Brussels is once again taking part in the Museum Night Fever on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
The aim of the evening is to promote Brussels museums to young people, by organizing a tailor-made evening for them. It's an event created by young people for young people, and it also puts artists aged 16 to 35 in the spotlight.
The evening is a major event at the BELvue (+/- 10,000 people over the course of the evening). We are also fortunate to hold the attendance record for the last 6 years, being the most visited of the 30 participating museums.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for artists, ideally aged between 18 and 35, in various fields (circus, dance, theater, acrobatics) and with a link to the museum's themes: democracy, solidarity, prosperity, diversity, pluralism, migration, languages, Europe, Belgian society, Belgian current affairs, Belgian history...
On the evening of Museum Night Fever, we'll be presenting original artistic performances linked to the museum's themes: democracy, solidarity, prosperity, diversity, pluralism, migration, languages, Europe, Belgian society, Belgian current affairs, Belgian history... One of the pillars of Museum Night Fever this year will be inclusivity.
Artists will also be able to highlight the temporary exhibition À la recherche de... LA FIN DU MONDE! Celebrating the 125th anniversary of the 'Belgica' scientific expedition to Antarctica, visitors to the BELvue museum can embark on a climatic and ecological voyage.
