The Festival Nanterre sur Scène offers a real springboard to future professionals in the performing arts, by offering these student artists the possibility of confronting the experience of the stage and the public, within the framework of a festival, but also a competition judged by a professional jury.

The Festival Nanterre sur Scène is open to:
● teams whose director and at least half of the
participants (artistic and technical) are university or school students or conservatories
for the year school year 2022-2023
● eclectic approaches to the performing arts: theatre, dance, performance, manipulation
of objects and puppets, circus, music, etc.
● mostly indoor and frontal forms

The selection of companies is done in two stages:
● from March 27 to May 28, 2023: submission of application files on our website
● September 5, 6 and 7, 2023: auditions of companies whose file will have been selected

The Festival will take place this year from November 20 to 24, 2023. The shows will be presented at the Bernard-Marie Koltès Theater and at the Pierre Reverdy Space of the Paris Nanterre University.

At the end of the competition, the professional jury will award the Grand Prix Nanterre sur Scène: a prize of €2,500; the high school student jury will award the High School Student Prize: a prize of €700; and the student jury will award the Student Prize: an endowment of €700.
