Job Summary
Rhythmflow are seeking an experienced Producer to join the team as we continue building plans for our upcoming SENSE creation and national and international tour.
Job Description
The Producer will work closely with our Artistic Director to fundraise for SENSE and establish partnership and collaborations. At Rhythmflow you will be working with an incredible team of performers and creative collaborators. It's an exciting time to join the company and contribute to shape new and existing projects and be a part of the development of Rhythmflow.
Rhythmflow is a Tap Fusion dance company founded by Artistic Director Rikkai Scott and we specialise in Tap, Hip Hop and Contemporary. Established in 2016 the company recently became funded by Bermuda Arts Council and Arts Council England cementing our work in supporting and developing the dance in theatre scene. Based in the Midlands, our work has a growing international profile as well as local and regional impact.
Job Requirements
Experience of fundraising/grant applications to support SENSE residency, touring and project development
Experience of producing touring theatre in the UK and internationally
Experience in networking, contacts and knowledge of UK and International mid to large scale venues and festivals
Highly organised and committed to working with the company during planning projects and productions for present and future.
A collaborative, positive attitude and a can-do approach, with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong financial management, including the development and management of budgets
Experience of negotiating, drafting and managing venue and performer contracts
Ready to contribute to a positive, creative, and inclusive culture
Strong communicator and networker
Experience of managing staff, freelancers and a professional dance company
Job Responsibilities
Fundraising for SENSE which includes writing applications for grants and negotiating commissions for residency and spring tour 2024.
Working with the Artistic Director, manage the continued creative development of SENSE during residency and leading up to tour performances
Oversee the touring of SENSE to confirmed UK and international venues during spring 2024
Identify and secure opportunities to tour SENSE to national and international venues and festivals, negotiating the best possible deals to achieve Rhythmflow's financial targets
Lead on all rehearsal/touring logistics including financial management, contracting, schedules, technical requirements, visas, accommodation, travel, marketing etc.
Produce Rhythmflow's full artistic programme to a high standard of delivery in the UK and internationally.
