We are looking for our next Talent Coordinator to join our Talent team in Las Vegas, NV. The main objective of this role is to ensure the highest degree of administrative support in an overall effort to create a unique employee experience. The Talent Coordinator will be key in communicating between departments and completing paperwork for employment. The ideal candidate should have the aspiration and potential to grow within the company by having a proactive and “big picture” mindset relating to employment.

The Talent Coordinator will have the opportunity to:
· Establish rapport with employees and managers while maintaining an approachable presence in the workplace, virtually or in person;
· Act as an initial point of contact for all Talent correspondences; replying to or forwarding documents, inquiries and questions to the appropriate representative as needed, including but not limited to the talent email mailbox, unemployment claims;
· Enter data, update and maintain employment information in our HRIS systems; Ensure accuracy of information related to items such as, but not limited to employee data, organizational structure and position information, in a timely manner;
· Respond to requests for HR from internal and external parties, including Finance, IT and Operations;
· Contribute to Talent initiatives by answering related questions, as well as potentially leading and managing projects;
· Coordinate and collaborate with Talent Partners and other Talent teams in the Resident and Affiliate Shows Division on a full spectrum of HR support for managers and employees;
· Create, maintain and dispose of all necessary electronic employee files;
· Administer the online timesheet process for all Resident Shows and office. This includes assisting managers and employees with questions they may have. This will also involve researching and finding solutions to issues that arise;
· Have a“big picture” mindset, by being proactive when communication is lacking, or tasks need revamping;
· Complete other job-related duties as assigned.

What does it take for this role? The following hard skills are the basics of what’s needed to be successful in this position:
· At least two years of previous experience in an HR-related administrativeposition;
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially excel;
· Ability to problem solve, take initiative to complete assignments independently, evaluate work process for efficiency and make changes as needed;
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
· Previous experience with SuccessFactors, Ceridian, Dayforce, ADP, Paycom is a plus;
· Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I-9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) verifying one’s identity and work authorization.
