Description:The Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Foundation is deploying La 6eperiod, a new after-school youth program that encourages a balance between sports, arts and studies.Focused on fun and discovery, the activities allow young people to explore several sporting disciplines among the following: 5-a-side baseball, dance, football, Frisbee, mini-tennis, skills course, tchoukball and yoga. Our dynamic and human team is keen to offer caring working conditions. Collaborating with specialists in the sports and artistic fields, the people chosen will take part in a stimulating project, both personally and professionally. We are looking for Passionate about various sports, leisure and physical activity to lead turnkey workshops in participating elementary schools; People experienced in running sports workshops for young people; Training and/or relevant experience in the following fields: dance, physical and health education, leisure technique, kinesiology or other fields related to physical activity, movement or teaching (an important asset ); Versatile candidates wishing to contribute to the implementation of an innovative project; An excellent sense of autonomy, teamwork and leadership. We offer Advantageous compensation with an hourly animation rate between $25.00 and $30.00, depending on experience; Varied time slots in the schools, from Tuesday to Thursday, midday or afternoon (number of hours varies according to the availability of the candidates); Specialized training on our educational content in order to perfect your knowledge; An exciting, respectful and positive work environment; Intuitive and efficient administrative management tools. For the 2022-2023 school year, we will be present in the following cities: Bécancour, Boisbriand, Drummondville, Laval, Longueuil and Montreal (boroughs of Côte-des-Neiges, Verdun and Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc -Extension), in addition to the Quebec region. We are currently hiring people who live and/or who can travel independently in these areas to take part in the animation team of the La 6eperiod program.
