Job Summary
Underbelly are looking for a sound technician to work on Olivier-award-winning cabaret show, La Clique during its run at Christmas in Leicester Square 2023.
Job Description
Installing and subsequent removal of sound equipment in the Spiegeltent venue
Welcoming the performing company, assisting with their technical rehearsals.
Operating every show.
Keeping full record of all information pertaining to sound requirements for shows, including turnaround notes, cue sheets and any other paperwork required.
Ensuring that all backstage facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standard.
Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to and report any issues to management.
Job Requirements
Experience of working as a sound technician in a professional environment.
Good knowledge of theatrical sound technology including rigging, patching, focussing and programming of digital sound desks, preferably on Midas or Yamaha desks.
Good working knowledge of programming and operating QLab.
Good working knowledge of health and safety in a theatrical environment.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Comfortable working at height.
