Description:Šeiko Dance Company are looking for a male dancer that would be available to join our dance company.Where: Klaipėda, Lithuania When: From the 1st of September, 2022. Deadline for applications: July 15, 2022 The candidates should send max. 2 min. video before the 15th of July to email [email protected]. Video can be impro or set up material but would be good if it’s mentioned clearly. Video should present you working with a specific body language that represents you the most. Selected for live audition dancers will be informed before the 20th of July. Audition is free of charge. It will take place at Culture Factory in Klaipeda in August. Detailed info about live audition will be sent out to the selected dancers. Condition for selected dancer: salary of 900 Eur / month (taxes are paid above by the company). Travel costs to Klaipeda and accommodation is responsibility of the dancer. Šeiko Dance Company – dance professionals working in the contemporary dance field creating dance and music performances, immersive theatre, site-specific performances, promenade performances, dance education projects and theatre laboratories. The highest professional theatre scene awards winners, who have been working as a company in Klaipeda for 10 years and has expanded their geography to many countries abroad. It already toured in USA, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, China, Iceland, Ukraine, Israel, Bulgaria, etc. The company have already worked with renown choreographers: Palle Granhoj (DK), Daphnis Kokkinos (GR), Maciej Kuzminski (PL), Rachid Ouramdane (FR), Alban Richard (FR), Dalija Acin Thelander (SRB), etc. The company works with different audiences: from children to seniors, city and dance community as well as people with disabilities. From 2016 Šeiko dance company is part of an international Lithuanian – French contemporary dance project „KlaipeDAnse”, that seeks to promote contemporary dance in Klaipeda city. Creative workshops are organized and performances with the international creative team are created. The theatre is led by an award-winning in Lithuania and well known in Europe contemporary dance choreographer Agnija Šeiko, who is recognizable for her interdisciplinary approach, distinctive aesthetics, sensitive social topics and the variety of forms.
