The Tanz Company Gervasi is looking for 7 professional dancers (M/F).

AMSTERDAM: BAU, Entrepotdok 4, 1018 AD Amsterdam

When:
VIENNA: Sunday, November 28, 2021; 11:00 -18:00
AMSTERDAM: Sunday, December 12, 2021; 11:00 – 18:00

Deadline for applications:

AMSTERDAM: Deadline for application: November 28, 2021 – Midnight

The Tanz Company Gervasi is looking for 7 professional dancers (M/F) with strong technical skills and with experience in improvisation to take part in the 2022 new creation inspired from the works and practices of Merce Cunningham. Knowledge of the Cunningham dance technique is desirable but not obligatory. The specificity of this production requires that participants of the audition should wear tricots, shorts and tight-fitting t-shirts. Thank you for your understanding.

Rehearsal period February-March 2022 in Vienna. Performances are planned for the 31th of March, 1st and 2nd of April 2022 in Vienna.
The participation to the audition is free of charge and by invitation only.

The audition is only for applicants with work permits for Europe.
Unfortunately, due to the amount of applications, we cannot send individual rejection letters.

– CV (short version) with a photo
– max. 1 min actual video with a solo work or improvisation (a self-made smartphone video is also ok. Please send us a recent video in which you are moving and in which you are wearing close-fitting clothes. We prefer to get the video link via Youtube or Vimeo)
– Specify in which city you would like to come for the audition.
