Katharina Senzenberger + Collaborators are looking for 3 professional contemporary dancers/performers for a new stage production coproduced by Tanzhaus NRW (Düsseldorf) and Tanzfaktur Köln (Cologne) in Germany.

We are looking for dancers/performers with strong and versatile performance skills, a toolbox of improvisational approaches as well as the ability to work with composition, a training background in contemporary, somatic and/or commercial techniques and an interest in researching and developing a dance piece in a partly process-oriented and partly guided way.
We expressly welcome applications from people who identify as Flinta* and/or queer and who have experienced (intersectional) discrimination. All bodies are welcome.
The project works with a queer-feminist, sex and body positive approach and researches questions around the political and aesthetic potential of water and fluidity. A key physical quality in the working process will be sliding in water. This can be challenging for the body, especially for people who get cold easily. The audition/workshop will provide a frame for applicants to try out and experience this quality. However, it is important for applicants to know that the research and rehearsal process can at times be physically challenging. On top of that the project will work – at least in parts – with semi-nudity. In face of these challenging requirements, we are extra aware that respect for boundaries, listening to needs and providing space for open communication is important.
