Description:The Ellipse company based in Marseille and directed by Axel Loubette since 2017 is looking for 3 dancers to take part in an initial research residency, following which 2 will join the new production scheduled for 2026.Where: Ballet National de Marseille, France When: 3rd april 2025 Deadline for applications: 3rd february 2025 Reverse is a choreographic and musical piece for 6 performers (5 dancers and 1 musician) dealing with civil disobedience as a social and ecological struggle. The audition will take place on Thursday 3 April 2025 at the Ballet National de Marseille from 9.30 am to 6 pm The first research residency will take place from 11 to 17 April 2025 at Klap-maison pour la danse, Marseille. Then creation: 20 to 25 October 2025: residency at CC Marcel Pagnol, La Roque d’Anthéron, France November 2025 – January 2026: 3-week residency (ongoing) 23 to 27 February 2026: final residency, lighting design, La Chaudronnerie, La Ciotat, France Profile: 18 years old. Dancers with an advanced level of technique in contemporary dance. Very good floorwork skills and a taste for taking risks. Good stamina. Available on the dates indicated above. Remuneration: €60 gross/4-hour rehearsal, €105 gross/7-hour day, €200 gross/cachet. Intermittent CDDU (CCNEAC) Pre-selection based on application, in-person audition by invitation only.
