Description:
The Noces Group was founded by choreographer and director Florence Bernad. She created her first piece in 2001, and has since established herself as a representative of physical and theatrical dance, virtuoso, emotional, with a particular attachment to reaching all audiences. Her experience in moving from a subject for adults to a world for children, gives her a singular freedom of tone. Today, her creations mix acrobatics, dance and text. Each season, between 100 and 150 performances are given, with 2 or 3 shows from the repertoire. The company has been based for 15 years at the Friche Mimi in Montpellier (34).

Our Kisses Will Be Soaked in Freedom – Creation 2027
With OUR KISSES WILL BE SOAKED IN FREEDOM, Florence Bernad wishes to set in motion five women who have made the journey to no longer being afraid of anything, freed from any questions of legitimacy, loyalty, honesty, and who will take their rightful place.
Together, from 20 to 60 years old, these acrobatic dancers will invent another presence in the world. Through her choreographic writing, Florence Bernad will embody the joy of living free, making each gesture a vibrant manifesto for a liberated existence. The choreographer wants to place at the center of this creation women artists freed from their heritage, aware of the history of the 100,000 women burned at the stake during the Renaissance in Europe. She will highlight the ancestral fears that continue to shape women, educating them to invisibility and discretion. The fear of dying burned alive has left deep traces on entire generations. This period of history is not a detail. The hunts organized by men against women, often from their own families, have sown terror, anchoring submission and renunciation in the feminine unconscious. Despite current feminist struggles, Florence Bernad still observes subtle brakes, always present in women's behavior. By questioning this violent past, NOS BAISERS SERONT TEMPÉS DE LIBERTÉ will propose another rebirth, an intimate revolution, where acrobatic flight will break the old system to create another, magnified by the joy of acrobatic movement and dance. Metamorphosis cannot occur without awareness of the past.

Acrobatics, Dance, and Acrodance
Acrodance is now a practice taught in several circus schools in France and elsewhere. Its definition is free and broad, and of course, several visions, styles, and movements are possible. Florence Bernad comes from contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation. Since 2015, her artistic development and gestural research has been enriched by acrobatics and flight. She is looking for acrobats who are passionate about pure technique, but also with the curiosity and ability to integrate the movement qualities derived from her choreographic writing. For this creation, classic acrobatic figures must be acquired. Flip – forward and backward somersault – wheel without hands – Mexican – lifts Dance must be practiced relaxed body weight work - fluidity of movement - floor work.
