Description:

We are looking for someone with a passion for performance, who will bring a dedicated and inclusive approach to artist support and strong organisational skills to this exciting role.

BAC’s Live & Digital Producers play a key role in programming and delivery of our diverse and thought-provoking seasons of multi-art form work. This includes performance taking place across our building and work that uses innovative digital technologies, to engage audiences in fresh and increasingly imaginative ways. In addition, they support artists to tour their work across the UK and internationally.

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive Producing team, encouraged to express your views on the creative work you see, and to bring new artists, communities and projects to BAC’s programme. Working closely with visiting and resident artists, you will help to develop their ideas and creative practice, while providing important pastoral care and professional support. You will also uphold BAC’s Relaxed Venue principles and regard accessibility and inclusion as key components of your work; from planning stages to delivery.

You might have experience as a freelance producer or project manager, have managed artist projects or programmed work for festivals or live performance events. You don’t need experience of working in a venue to apply – we can support an emerging producer to grow and develop their taste, skills and practice within a collaborative team.

Applications close 10am, Tuesday 31 August 2021. Successful shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview from the week commencing 6 September 2021.
