The POC! d'Alfortville was inaugurated on March 17, 2007. It has a 410-seat auditorium and cinema, a 400 m2 convivial space, a media library and a “La Terrasse” restaurant-bar area.
The POC! is a multidisciplinary city theater in Val-de-Marne which aims to present contemporary creation in what it has most diverse: text theater, repertoire as contemporary, documentary, musical, visual, collective, immersive, interactive, single-on-stage, hybrid; contemporary dance, creations such as large “classic” pieces, hip-hop, performance; without forgetting the new circus, the opera, the public space, classical, contemporary, current music etc.
With his team, the POC! hosts numerous shows, cinema screenings and events, develops and monitors numerous projects throughout the year and seeks to best support artists through creative residencies. The performance hall has a seating capacity of 410 seats, with a single-storey stage and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. We are recruiting a:

Lighting manager
(Technician job managers)

Under the authority of the Technical Director, in collaboration with the main stage manager, you ensure the technical reception of the shows of the cultural season of the POC and the events or events scheduled whether inside or outside the walls. You also manage the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the operation of the lighting installations for shows as well as the settings and maintenance of the equipment entrusted.

Participate in technical studies
• Implement technical sheets for the shows hosted
• Anticipate material needs after studying the sheets (purchase list of consumable or rental)
• Negotiate, monitor, update and adapt lighting or lighting plans lighting in conjunction with companies
• Participate in defining the consumable / investment needs of its sector in the short / medium term
• Carry out a technological watch on lighting equipment
• Create, propose and invent lighting for professional and amateur shows where applicable (residences, end-of-year shows, cultural actions or mediations)
Installation of materials and equipment necessary for shows and events
• Participate in the preparation of shows (upstream, assembly / dismantling / unloading / loading) and the technical implementation of projects artistic (exhibition, installation, decentralization, etc.)
• Take responsibility for the lighting effects of shows during performances and / or rehearsals
• Adjust the headlights and prepare and / or develop the lighting system

Adaptation, control of installations and safety
measures • Ensure the maintenance of technical rooms (control room, room dimmers, workshops, depots, etc.), storage and maintenance of all the technical equipment
• Ensure the proper functioning of the theater equipment in its various spaces (large room, atrium, conviviality room, hall or outside)
• Assist and advise the managers of the companies hosted, take on the role of light designer if necessary

Supervision of staff and activities
• Supervise , in conjunction with the technical director, one or more intermittent (s) of his service
• Provide technical assistance during performances and residencies
• Participate in ex-events
Description of the profile sought
• Professional certification in lighting management (CFPTS, ISTS, ENSATT, etc.) and significant professional experience required or CAP / BEP in electricity and solid professional experience in performing arts required.
• Mastery of optics and the electric chain.
• Knowledge and mastery of networks dedicated to show lighting.
• Good mastery of all lighting technologies (Led, slave, etc.)
• Perfect mastery of digital lighting consoles (ETC Cobalt and grandMA 2).
• BR electrical authorization and CACES R386 or R486 essential.
• Capacities of supervision and support of intermittent employees.
• Sense of organization, anticipation and teamwork.
• Proficiency in office automation, AutoCad or QCad welcome
• Strong sensitivity to live performance activities and theater in particular.
• Very high availability, taking into account the specificities of the artistic activity: presence in evenings, WE.
• Practice of technical English greatly appreciated.
• Proven industry experience
