The Eidola Company is a young performing arts company focused on arts-science creations in collaboration with researchers. It seeks to produce intimate and collective artistic experiences that renew the relationship and modes of interaction with the public. Using materials as diverse as bodies, visuals, sound and plastic creation, it creates pieces that immerse the viewer in kaleidoscopic universes where any digression is permitted. As its name suggests (Eidola: plural of Eidolon in Greek - image of an object that is taken for the object itself), the framework that irrigates its artistic research is a reflection on the image, memory and the capacities of the imagination and fiction to create the world and our representations. It is part of an approach of interweaving between arts and sciences, promoting an approach to the living through the imagination and the sensory.
