Description:

The Department of Theatre at Aurora University is looking for a Chicagoland area-based Lighting Designer for the Fall Production of Concord Floral by Jordan Tannahill.

Lighting Designer Responsibilities: Collaboratively work as part of the design team, create and implement a lighting plot with in-house lighting equipment per the design, prepare and update lighting paperwork, coordinate a focus and hang schedule, Program the board, and troubleshoot during the production, work professionally with student cast and crew members.

Must be able to attend all Zoom production meetings, design presentation at first rehearsal, Tech and Dress.

Production meetings begin in August, and Rehearsals begin 9/14/25 through 11/6/25. Tech and Dress 11/7/25 - 11/12/2025 (off 11/10/2025), Opening on November 13th
