Role Description
This is a hourly position for a Lead Lighting Technician located in Kansas City, MO. The Lead Lighting Technician will be responsible for executing lighting designs for various types of events, managing lighting control systems, and ensuring professional lighting setup and operation. Key tasks include being hands on during preps, load ins, shows and load outs. This role will also need to collaborate with clients and production managers to understand their vision, designing lighting plans, implementing and troubleshooting lighting setups, and working closely with the event production team to deliver high-quality lighting solutions.

Qualifications
+bull; Skills in lighting design and technology
+bull; Proficiency in using lighting control systems including Road Hog and/or GrandMA consoles
+bull; Experience in professional lighting setup and operation
+bull; Excellent communication and collaborative skills
+bull; Ability to lead a team to ensure a smooth set up
+bull; Experience in event production or related field is a plus
+bull; Bachelor+rsquo;s degree a plus, but not required. Proven experience with lighting systems preferred.

Class B License
Technicians are required to obtain and maintain a Class B driver's license. HMXLive will provide training.
