Description:Ballet Arabesque Contemporary Dance Company, based in Sofia, Bulgaria, is launching an audition for professional dancers (male & female) under the age of 25 years.Where: Sofia, Bulgaria When: 21st May 2022 Deadline for applications: 3rd May 2022 We are looking for professional dancers with excellent technical skills in contemporary dance and classical ballet and very good performance abilities. Ballet “Arabesque” is the most established professional troupe for contemporary dance in Bulgaria with a 55-year history. Ballet “Arabesque” has always been at the forefront of new world-wide trends in contemporary dance, while also developing the Bulgarian face of contemporary dance art. “Arabesque” is the place where contemporary Bulgarian dance art meets the broader European and global context through various collaborations with international choreographers. How to apply: * Pre-selection – CV and video material with one classical variation or classical exercise and one solo (fragment), based on modern dance techniques, to be sent by e-mail to [email protected] until May 3, 2022. * The approved candidates will be invited to an audition on May 21, 2022 at the Musical Theater (Sofia, 3 Panayot Volov Str.), at the rehearsal hall of Ballet Arabesque.
