At Kinetic Arts Center we strive to create an innovative and dynamic circus culture. We offer professional and recreational classes with an emphasis on performance for youth and adult students. As our recreational circus program continues to grow there is high demand for aerial, acrobatics and circus instructors.
We are actively seeking professionals eager to join the the ranks of our locally, nationally & internationally acclaimed teaching staff.
Position(s) available immediately. Saturday and/or Sunday availability required.
People with experience in movement coaching (dance, gymnastics, creative play & sensory development, etc) are encouraged to apply. Training is provided.
Youth Circus Arts classes consist of: active warm-up, obstacle course (including balancing, rolling and swinging), and aerial (tissue or trapeze).
Applicant requirements:
Several years experience teaching infants, toddlers and young children,
Strong classroom management skills,
Availability to coach with regularity and reliability,
Interest in working in a friendly and professional environment that is creative, positive and inclusive,
Reliable transportation,
Able to lift 20 lbs.
The following assets are beneficial but not required:
Aerial and/or acrobatic skills,
Clowning/physical theatre, juggling and balancing skills,
Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
