Skånes Dansteater is interested in experienced professional dancers with a strong contemporary technique, a personal artistic voice and charismatic presence. A genuine interest in ensemble and repertory work, dedication to both personal and company development and an ambition for generously sharing of knowledge are characteristics we highly value. A personal invitation is required for audition.
To apply you must complete our online application form via the link below and learn and record four sequences (to be found below) and a short improvisation that you must upload for us to view, as the first stage of the application process – showreels will not be accepted.
The form will expire on midnight March 6, 2022. Late applications will not be accepted.
The sequences you must learn and record are inspired by choreographies of Mari Carrasco, Tero Saarinen and Marcos Morau, as well as a phrase of Anouk van Dijk’s method Countertechnique. The sequences we would like you to learn are available on skanesdansteater.se
We would also like you to include material presenting your personal movement style as an improvisation.
The film should be no longer than 3 minutes in total.
