Since the year 2011, Z Fit Studios hasn’t missed a beat in Bendigo. We have emerged to be one of the region’s iconic arts and creative institutes delivering our programs from our four campuses: The Academy of Dance located in Bendigo CBD; Dance Hub located on Hattam Street, Golden Square; Pole Hub located on Hattam Street, Golden Square; and Circus Hub located on Woodward Road, Golden Square. All our instructors come with highly skilled training and qualifications, and have additional work requirements such as - First Aid, CPR Certification and Working With Children Check. Tasks & responsibilities
Teaching across a broad range of Circus skills, currently we offer lyra, sling, tissu, trapeze & tumbling. Diversity into other areas of the business such as fitness, pole, dance and even BunZee classes is always an added bonus. We can offer training in some of these areas such as BunZee fitness.
Working off and updating teaching syllabus
Teaching group classes and private classes to a wide range of ages and abilities
Liaising with existing staff members, managers, supervisors, and clients in order to achieve set goals.
Maintaining relationships with clients and finding creative ways to expand the organization.
Control & Managing - Scheduling and resourcing of their department.
Ensuring all the department classes are of top-notch quality and meet Z Fit Studios QA/QC standards for their operations and every class.
Keeping all the Department Spaces up to date and ensuring that cleanliness, hygiene and OHS of the Department is of highest standards.
Observing, analyzing, and offering suggestions on current operations.
Provide a fun and creative environment.
Qualifications & experience
Circus specific training or qualification from an accredited institute.
Previous teaching experience mandatory.
Previous management experience is desirable.
Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
Results driven, self-motivated, confident, highly organised & diligent.
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills.
The ability to work under pressure during performances and productions.
Have the ability to lead teams as captain in external events and competitions as required.
The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
Current CPR and First Aid qualifications & current WWC check

The position will involve a thorough handover process and training in the month of January with the person who is currently performing this role and has been with the organisation for almost 7 years and this handover will help you learn and understand the Z Fit Studios way and culture.
Possibility depending on individual circumstances for up to $8K if relocating to a regional area for this position.
Possibility to work 0.8FTE if this suits your needs.
