Description:Flanders wants to make exceptional efforts or a professional trajectory for circus artists possible with the development grants for individual artists . The process, research and artistic experiment take precedence over a concrete production, but you must be convincing in your subsidy application with your growth potential and concrete expectations.A grant is awarded for a maximum of one year and is used for a maximum of 80% of the international travel costs and accommodation and study costs directly related to your education. For whom You can only apply for a development grant as a natural person who lives in Flanders or Brussels. Not as an organization, that is. As a circus artist you can receive a maximum of 1 grant per year. You may interpret the term circus artist broadly. In addition to training for circus makers, courses aimed at circus technique, dramaturgy and pedagogy are also eligible. You can apply for a subsidy for training courses both within Flanders and abroad. Training in the context of formal education cannot be subsidized. Features and criteria We test a grant application against these quality criteria : your submitted motivation; your growth potential as a circus artist; and the contribution of the training to the development of your journey as a circus artist. How and when to apply You can submit a request via the KIOSK web application . Use the fields in KIOSK to formulate an answer to the decretal criteria. For the budget, use the template provided by the administration. Fill them in and upload them to KIOSK. There are three subsidy rounds per year, with the following submission dates: no later than February 15 for initiatives starting from May 1 of the same year; no later than June 15 for initiatives starting from September 1 of the same year; no later than October 15 for initiatives that start from January 1 of the following year.
